ABOUT BURY PLASTERING
Bury Plastering specialises in providing plastering services for domestic and commercial customers. In addition to plastering, we also offer services such as skimming, plaster boarding, dry lining, floor screeding, damp proofing and external rendering. Rendering - (K Rend) Coloured render
This is a pre coloured wall coating that protects and makes your house look great, it comes in various colours and doesn't need painting.
We sheet the entire area then put scaffold up if required.
New angle beads are applied to windows doors and edges to make it look neat then the render is applied. We then wait for it to set a few hours (over night in winter) then return to create the finish, and the big clean up.
A day or so later the scaffolder returns to dismantle and do any final cleaning up.
Plastering/Re-Skim
From a single wall to a full house, if you have decided to redecorate and your walls look old, bumpy and full of marks and holes, then this is what you need, even if you are wall papering especially the modern patterned 'feature wall' papers.
Its a relatively quick process just a day or two for most rooms. We sheet the whole room so your carpet or floor is safe, then everything gets painted with PVA glue to make sure it stays stuck.
Then we skim over the walls and ceilings with Gypsum finish plaster leaving a flat smooth surface that's ready to paint or paper.
